Hi, I’m Helen Nguyen — a Toronto-based editor with a love for storytelling through film and motion.
My journey began after winning a video contest for Kinka Izakaya, a Japanese restaurant. I shot and edited the piece myself, and the prize — a trip to Japan — lit a fire in me to keep creating and carving out opportunities on my own.
For the past few years, I poured my time and heart into Tier Zero, a former creative and production studio. After 6 memorable years, I’m proud of how much I’ve grown — not just in my craft as an editor, but also as a collaborator and someone who genuinely values the people behind the work.
Currently, I’m freelancing as an editor, filmmaker, and photographer, and open to both commercial projects and creative collaborations that align with my values and timeline.
